One of our favorites! One of the first blooms of spring, and so very hardy! And the fun Dr. Suess like seed heads are so much fun!
Velvety, purple, bell-shaped blooms with bright yellow centres very early in spring. Round seed heads, finely cut green foliage and stems are covered in silky hairs. Prefers well-drained, rich humusy soil.
