Common Name: Daylily
  • 6", bittersweet orange tepals with a darker orange eye
  • Throat and midribs are lighter orange-yellow
  • Very easy to grow and propagate
  • Petals have crimped edges, sepals are smooth, both are recurved

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
