These chicks are flown direct to Homer so they arrive at our store between 24 and 36 hours after hatch, compared with the 60-72 hours through the post office.  This gives them a much higher survival rate.

They are one of only a few known auto sexing chicken breeds. Meaning they are able to tell at a day old the sex based on feather color. The Cream Legbar is a cross between Barred Rocks, Leghorns, and Araucanas. They are known to be semi-flighty in nature, but with an overall docile disposition. They are all temperature weather hardy and are good foragers. A majority of our Legbars will have a crest, but a small percentage will not. The Legbar is a great addition to diversify your egg basket. Female chicks are dark while male chicks are light in color.
