Starting OutBefore going outside, we recommend you begin with your cat indoors, making sure to give lots of praise, petting, and treats during the process. Short training sessions work best! |
Training TipsApply tension if your cat pulls away from you. Release tension when she is calm. Your goal is to walk without tension, using a loose leash. |
Going OutsideOnce outside, begin near a more sheltered area where your cat is less likely to feel exposed. Allow your cat to slowly move around at their own pace. Don't forget to offer rewards and praise!
